In general price of Almonds is like any market determined by supply and demand.  Monthly the position report (shipment figures) are published.  Besides with have yearly several Crop estimate reports like the subjective, objective, TNT Report, Wonderful report.  These reports mostly have an influence on the price of the almonds.  

Besides other circumstances like climate (frost, draught) can have a major impact on the price.  Also, the unpredictable behavior of the emerging markets has a substantial influence.
